Our all-inclusive energy packages make qualifying simple. Talk to other companies about energy efficient windows, doors, and insulation and they’ll tell you about pieces and parts. Not Reliance. We make it easy to select our products that meet the energy tax credit requirements, without mixing and matching components from a confusing list of options.
Now through the end of 2010, the new U.S. Energy Tax Credit allows homeowners up to $1,500 in federal tax savings for purchasing products that meet the new energy-efficiency requirements. Reliance offers a full lineup of energy-saving windows, doors, roofing, insulation that lets you take advantage of this valuable incentive – earning a tax credit of up to 30% of the product cost, for a potential tax credit up to $1,500 on your federal income tax.
To qualify for the credit, products must comply with energy-efficiency requirements and meet additional criteria outlined in the federal tax code.

Important!
The tax credit is for the cost of the products only and includes no installation costs. 18% of the contract price of Reliance installation jobs is typically allocated to installation labor. Be sure to obtain a sales receipt that indicates the product cost only. The tax credit is equal to 30% of the product cost up to a maximum of $1,500 for all qualifying home improvements combined (including windows, insulation, roofing, HVAC and water heaters) during 2009 and 2010, which may include other eligible items as listed in the IRS Notice.
